Chapter 0 - Introduction

This Introduction provides a quick understanding of Innovation. The course that follows will explain how the ISO 56000 Series provides us with an Innovation Management System (IMS).

The course takes you through ISO 56000 Concepts and Principle, ISO 56002:2019, Guidance on how to develop an Innovation Management System and leads into the Certification standard ISO 56001 which explains the primary audit points.

The chapters of the course are outlined in this Introduction. There is a Companion Book for which details can be obtained from the link https://questmgt.com/iso56000-book. Samples of the Quizzes, Assignments and Case Studies in the chapters ahead are shown in this Introduction.

The Introduction will also give you a brief outline of my background as Course Author and Instructor. Chapter 1 of the course is then complementary in order to give you an understanding of the course approach, structure and content.
