What is ISO 9001:2015?

The Quality Management System Standard ISO 9001 has been used by the Steel Industry for many years. It is a natural fit for the industry in which the ‘process approach’ is an everyday activity. The standard aligns with ISO 14001:2015, Environmental Management and ISO 45001:2018 Health and Safety Management. This enables business leaders to make decisions on the allocation of time, money and people more easily. The common high-level structure enables the alignment of Strategic Intent in clause 4, Leadership in clause 5 and Planning in clause 6 at the initiation of the Management System. There are many other industry critical issues such as traceability addressed in clause 8.5 as you progress through the standard. Achieving ISO 9001:2015 is not easy and Quest brings years of experience with the standard to enable you to achieve registration.
